The noise and confinement are overwhelming, and recently, she even broke out of her crate—though rather than flee, she simply wandered until she found a volunteer. This speaks volumes about her gentle nature. At around 7 years old and weighing 40 lbs., Nola is affectionate and eager for companionship. She knows basic commands like sit and give paw, and she keeps her crate clean. All she wants is a quiet home where she can relax next to her person and feel safe.
