About Bean
Meet Bean! This little gentleman packs a lot of charm into his 6 pounds. At about 5-7 years old, Bean is primarily a Chihuahua, filled with sweetness and a penchant for snuggles. He often does the classic Chihuahua shiver, but underneath those tiny shakes is a sensitive soul who loves gentle handling. Bean adores other dogs and enjoys meeting new people. Unlike some Chihuahuas, he doesn't boast much attitude; he's gentle, friendly, and very much a lover. Treat him with care, as he can be easily startled. This little snuggler is doing well with his potty training. While he might initially mark around other dogs, that should improve once he’s neutered. He's currently on the thin side, but his rescue is giving him time to gain weight before the procedure. He is also heartworm positive, but don't let that deter you. The rescue is covering his treatment. Because of his size, Bean would thrive in a home with children who can gently handle him. He prefers a gentle touch over rough play, as he is more “delicate teacup” than “rugby ball.” Looking for a cuddly companion who will see you as prime real estate for lounging? Bean might be the perfect fit! Take the first step and apply for him today!
