Meet Pedal Rose. At just one year old, this 8-pound Jack Russell/Chihuahua mix, with a hint of Papillon, carries the gentle soul of a retired librarian. She's a timid little lady who needs some time to warm up, but once she trusts you, she transforms into a devoted lap dog. One key detail: she’s not fond of being picked up. That said, she will happily settle on your lap and stay there for hours, enjoying the comfort of her chosen human. Pedal Rose gets along wonderfully with other dogs and would thrive with a canine companion to boost her confidence. However, she’s not a fan of cats, finding them to be quite intimidating. This sweet girl is quiet and doesn't bark much, often keeping her thoughts to herself. She’s diligently working on her potty training and is making good progress. While she’s not a huge fan of her crate, she manages just fine when needed. What she truly seeks is a cozy spot to call her own and a compassionate person who will give her the space to grow at her own pace.
