About Truman

Truman is the oldest resident at the shelter, currently 10 years old. Most of the time, he enjoys a peaceful nap in his bed, but when playtime rolls around, he transforms into a lively spitfire! This toy fanatic prefers a ball or stuffed animal over treats. He loves jumping, playing fetch, and lounging in your lap, especially on warm days when he can soak up some cuddles and watch the birds. Truman has a charming smile that lights up the room as he approaches the door for his walks. He enjoys his outings and interacts wonderfully with people of all ages. However, he has faced challenges in his past, having been left at animal control twice. Thankfully, he knows he's safe now, being treated with the care he deserves while waiting for his forever home. While Truman is tolerant of dogs, he would prefer to be the only one in the household to get all the attention.
