Truman is our oldest in-house resident at 10 years old, and his personality reflects that about 85% of the time as he peacefully snoozes in his bed until dinner time. However, the remaining 15% is filled with playful antics! This little guy turns into a lively spitfire during playtime! He is a true toy fanatic! He would rather have a ball or stuffed toy over a treat. He enjoys jumping around, playing fetch, and lounging in your lap on warm days while keeping an eye on the birds and soaking up cuddles. He regularly joins our volunteer walks and interacts wonderfully with people of all ages. If you haven't noticed, his smile is absolutely charming, and everyone delights in seeing him approach the door for a walk. He loves to walk with a toy in his mouth and has the cutest little strut. Sadly, Truman was left at animal control twice by his previous owners before coming to us. This poor pup had to learn that the staff at RAR are here to support and care for him. Now, he spends his days in our building, napping and indulging in all the treats he desires while he patiently awaits his forever family to take him home. Truman is dog tolerant but would rather be left alone to play on his own. He would thrive as the only dog in the home. Truman should not be in a home with cats or young kids as his exuberance is sure to bowl them over. Truman as been at Royal since December of 2024.
