Meet Disco! This sweet girl, a Black Labrador Retriever, has finally escaped the shelter after caring for five puppies facing a difficult fate. Now that her mama duties are done, she’s ready to find a forever home of her own. Disco is an independent spirit. She enjoys meeting people but has a short attention span, similar to that of a goldfish. After a few pets, she’ll happily wander off on her own adventures. Disco isn’t overly interested in toys; instead, her one true love is food. Treats are the best way to win her heart, especially after caring for her energetic pups. Having been through a lot, she remains incredibly handleable and doesn’t mind having her ears, tail, or feet touched. She’s a sweet, easygoing girl who is content to do her own thing, as long as there are treats involved. Plus, Disco is a good car rider! Disco has also participated in doggy playgroups and enjoys gentle, playful interactions with both male and female dogs. Too much physical contact isn't her style, but she loves bouncing around with friends. If you're looking for a best friend, Disco would love to be your girl! Disco is available for a meet and greet, but she will stay in our care until after her spay surgery.
