About Luna

Luna is an estimated 2-year-old American Staffordshire Terrier mix, weighing almost 70 pounds. This beautiful girl has a whole lot of love to give and adores people, showing friendliness to everyone she meets. She enjoys being around other dogs and has interacted well with children. Luna is playful and loves attention, eagerly soaking up affection from her family. However, she does have a strong prey drive and has been known to chase chickens, so a home with fowl is not a suitable fit for her. While Luna is housetrained, she could use some practice with recall and general manners, as she gets nervous and excited sometimes. She’s currently waiting for her spay surgery but is eager to find her forever home, where she can thrive with a loving family. Luna is set to make a wonderful companion for someone who can provide patience, consistency, and plenty of exercise. If you think she could be the big, beautiful girl you’ve been searching for, consider reaching out to meet her! Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
