AvailableAbout Roxi
Roxi is a lovely 16-year-old Chihuahua mix, weighing around 8 pounds. She’s spent her entire life in one home until a recent change meant her family could no longer keep her. Don’t let her age fool you; she’s quite spry and catches many by surprise when they discover she’s a senior. Though she might have some selective hearing, Roxi has excellent eyesight and is in good health for her age, thanks to a recent dental procedure. She has Stage 1 kidney disease, which requires her to be on a special renal diet. Settling into her foster home beautifully, Roxi gets along well with her foster siblings and has lived peacefully alongside a cat in her previous home. She’s house trained and enjoys her outdoor time. Ideally, she should have regular bathroom breaks to support her kidney health, and she loves to lean on her people during cozy TV moments. A fenced yard would be a bonus, but regular leash walks will work just fine too. The best fit for Roxi would be an adult-only home, perhaps with retired owners or those who work from home. She prefers to be the center of attention, so while she could share space with other dogs, she deserves to be someone's special baby. If you're in the Central Florida/Orlando area, consider applying for Roxi and share a bit about yourself. Ready to give her a loving home? Click apply to start the adoption process.
