Meet Sadie, affectionately known as Say Say! She is a wonderful Great Pyrenees, around 3 years old and weighing about 77 pounds. Sadie's journey has been tough; she arrived at the shelter with her seven puppies, severely matted and underweight after multiple litters. Thankfully, she has found refuge and is now on her way to recovery. Sadie's personality has started to shine as she settles into life in Maryland. Once she gets past her initial shyness, she is incredibly affectionate, loving gentle pets and quiet lap time. She's a playful spirit, especially with other dogs, thriving in their company and maintaining her sweet, easygoing demeanor. At home, Sadie is a dream. She is house trained, doesn’t need a crate, and doesn’t counter surf or bark excessively. This gentle giant often finds cozy spots underfoot, where she likes to keep watch over her people. Sadie walks nicely on a leash and enjoys leisurely strolls, soaking up the sights and sounds. Her ideal home would be in a quiet neighborhood, where she can spend time outside with a furry friend. Although she appreciates a fenced yard, it’s not a must-have. Sadie is ready for a forever home where she can bask in love while being the loyal companion she was meant to be.
