Bertie is a delightful dog who arrived at the shelter on August 10th, hoping to find her forever home. Sadly, no one has come to claim her yet. A longtime volunteer describes Bertie as one of the most incredible dogs they've met, and it’s easy to see why. She’s playful, friendly, and especially loves her toys, particularly during playtime with her best friend, Marta. Together, they even know commands like sit, down, and stay; watching them perform these tricks in unison is truly heartwarming. At approximately three years old and weighing 48 lbs, Bertie is up to date on vaccinations and has tested negative for heartworms. She will be spayed and microchipped when adopted.
