Taiga is a young female mixed-breed dog, likely a medium-sized Husky/Shepherd mix. She's altered and vaccinated, ready for her forever home in Effingham, IL. Though she may take time to adjust, her soft white coat and affectionate nature are sure to shine through once she feels safe.

About Taiga

Meet Taiga! This beautiful girl, wrapped in white fur and sporting giant ears, is still a bit of a mystery. Taiga is a Husky mix, possibly with Shepherd or Lab, and right now she’s very shy. She'll need a patient owner who understands that establishing trust can take time. So far, Taiga has exhibited good behavior around cats and has made friends with one of our little Beagle puppies, though any resident dogs should have a proper introduction. A securely fenced backyard is necessary for her; with her timid nature, it's crucial that she has a safe space to explore while she learns that the world can be a welcoming place. Though she may not rush into your arms immediately, sometimes the most rewarding bonds come from earning the trust of a shy friend. When Taiga decides you’re her person, it’s sure to be a special connection. Please help us find the loving, patient home she deserves. Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
