Meet Deb, a 68-pound snuggle bug who has just made her way to Minnesota from Alabama after being rescued from a hoarding situation. She’s incredibly grateful for a chance at a forever family. At just over a year old, Deb is more of a laid-back girl who prefers cozying up next to her humans rather than running around. She's been working hard on her potty training and is making fantastic progress with crate training; she doesn’t mind settling in there when bedtime comes or when her foster family is away. Deb currently shares her foster home with a resident dog and two cats and gets along splendidly with them all. Her favorite companion is her 6-year-old human foster sister, whom she follows everywhere, showering her with kisses and affection. Deb is the perfect choice for anyone seeking a gentle, calm companion. All she needs is a loving home, a lap to rest her head on, and a cozy couch for napping. Deb is currently heartworm positive and has completed her treatment, awaiting a negative test result. She will need monthly topical heartworm prevention during her recovery, which the rescue will provide. Other than that, her medical needs will be the responsibility of her adoptive family.
