Meet Archie! This calm, delightful male Great Pyrenees, possibly mixed with Golden Retriever, is around 2-3 years old. He boasts a lovely white coat with a few golden patches that catch the eye, especially with his striking gold-colored eyes. Currently weighing just under 70 pounds, Archie is slightly underweight and should ideally be around 80 pounds. With his gentle demeanor, Archie can be a bit cautious with new people but warms up quickly, loving to follow you around and snuggle next to you on the couch. He tends to ask for attention with a soft paw on your lap. While he hasn’t been around small children yet, he’s expected to do well with them. Archie gets along with both cats and dogs, although he shows more interest in his human companions. Archie is an adventurous spirit, great at swimming and has enjoyed paddle boarding with his foster family. He even runs alongside his foster while bike riding, showcasing his excellent leash manners. Though not overly motivated by toys, he brings joy with his playful antics and silly behaviors. He’s house trained and does well when left alone, although he prefers not to be crated. While he enjoys car rides, he likes to sit up front with you. Archie's calm and gentle energy makes him a perfect companion for many families.
