About Meg
Meet Meg, a lovely 12-year-old Yellow Labrador Retriever weighing around 50 pounds. This gentle soul is looking for a calm and loving home. Meg has had a unique journey; initially, she was unable to be sold due to a rare condition called megaesophagus. Fortunately, she spent a wonderful 12 years with a family who adored her, but due to their health issues, she’s now seeking a new family through Rescue One. Meg is easy-going and enjoys a relaxed atmosphere where she can be with her people. Feeding her in her special chair and keeping her upright for 15 minutes post-meal is straightforward, and otherwise, she’s in excellent health for her age. She is active and playful, especially with other dogs, and has a warm affection for kids of all ages. While she hasn't been around cats, she may adapt well if they are dog-friendly. This sweet girl doesn't require a fenced yard and is great on leash, so she would fit well in an apartment—though many stairs might be a challenge. Meg's adoption fee is $75, which covers her spay, vaccinations, wellness exam, heartworm test, and microchip. If you’re interested in giving this affectionate dog a forever home, complete an application, and let love blossom!
