Shelby is a small female Domestic Short Hair who is currently a baby at just 3 months old. She has a lovely tabby coat and is house trained. Shelby is spayed and up to date on vaccinations. She is ready for her forever home in Milwaukee, WI. Though she's still young, her big personality shines through, making her a delightful companion.

About Shelby

Shelby has quite the adventurous spirit. She was first spotted darting across a Target parking lot, showcasing her wild side, and quickly found refuge under the hood of a car (which is how she earned her name!). After a bit of coaxing with some wet food, she emerged, and she's been thriving ever since. This little ball of contradictions is both brave and sweet. With an endless curiosity, she loves to explore and entertain herself but equally enjoys those cozy moments curled up on your chest, purring with delight. Shelby is eager to bring her vibrant personality to a loving home, especially one with at least one other playful cat to share adventures with. Currently fostered around various cats and dogs, she gets along beautifully with everyone. Ragged Claws Rescue policy requires that all kittens go to homes that have another young, playful feline companion. Shelby will be spayed on August 25, 2026, with a go-home date of August 29, 2026. The adoption fee is $175, which covers her spay, microchip, and vaccinations. If you're looking to welcome this affectionate companion into your home, take the first step today!
