She’s overcome significant challenges, arriving as a stray with weakness and muscle loss in her hind legs due to hip dysplasia. In November 2025, Charlotte underwent surgery on both hips to alleviate her pain and improve her mobility. After extensive physical therapy and underwater treadmill sessions, she's made remarkable strides and can now walk and run with joy, although stairs still present some difficulty. Charlotte is making progress in her social skills, particularly when meeting new people. With support from her foster family and training staff, her new family will receive guidance to help her adjust and thrive in new environments. Her foster family has shared how sweet she is, getting along well with their two small dogs and eagerly wanting to play with new canine friends.
