Meet Flor, a spirited 65-lb female Rottweiler full of love and enjoying life. At around 6-7 years old, she has overcome significant challenges; she was found in a canal ditch in Mexico, weak and struggling. Thanks to the wonderful people at The Cantu Foundation, she received the care she needed and has blossomed into a happy, playful girl. Flor is fully house-trained, crate-trained, and walks wonderfully on a leash. She excels at entertaining herself and is great at napping in her crate when left alone. When you're home, though, get ready for fun and affection! Her favorites include tennis balls, squeaky toys, and playing soccer. Water is her happy place—think of her as your personal splash park enthusiast. While she would love a yard to play in, she's also happy indoors if someone shares a toy or ball with her. Though she gets along well with kids, she would do best in a home with larger children or as the only pet. She's selective with dogs and might do better with a more submissive smaller dog or a female. A home without many steps is ideal as her back legs are still healing, but she's more than ready to embark on this new journey with you.
