About Domino

Meet Domino, the Comeback Cat! This striking 4-year-old tuxedo male has experienced more in his short life than many do in a lifetime. Abandoned in Hartford, he was found rummaging in garbage for food and endured a tough start. After a week in emergency care and battling through severe health challenges, he’s emerged healthier and ready to find his forever home. Domino is affectionate and loves attention, though he can get a bit overstimulated at times, often expressing this with playful nibbles. He thrives best in a home without small children and with a savvy cat owner who can understand his boundaries. One quirk of his personality is an unusual love for masking tape, so tempting items should be kept out of reach. When not lounging in cozy spots or playing, you might find him squeezed into boxes—if it fits, he sits! It's worth noting that Domino is feline leukemia positive (FeLV+), which means he cannot be around other cats unless they also share this diagnosis. With the right forever foster or adopter, he is sure to flourish even more. Domino is neutered, up-to-date on his vaccinations, and has a survivor’s spirit that anyone would cherish. He could truly complete your family. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and let's get started!
