About Oakley

Oakley ended up at the shelter after his previous owners could no longer care for him. This charming 4-month-old pup weighs 20 lbs and is incredibly sweet. Despite the chaos of shelter life, he shows love and affection to everyone he meets. Living in DC, MD, or NoVa? Oakley is the ideal companion for all your adventures, whether it's hiking, road trips, or cozy couch snuggles. He’s eager for a permanent home and is ready to bond as your best friend. Just a note: his new family should be home most of the day since he’s still a puppy. You’ll also be required to enter a spay/neuter agreement with an affiliated veterinarian when he turns 6 months old. He’s current on age-appropriate vaccinations. If you’re ready to welcome a playful spirit into your life, apply to adopt Oakley and start this wonderful journey together. Every animal deserves a happy ending, and this one starts with you.
