Damien is on the lookout for his forever home. This playful, one-and-a-half-year-old Husky, weighing around 50 pounds, came to Bubbles Dog Rescue from the San Bernardino City Shelter. He’s been capturing hearts in Santa Monica, CA with his friendly demeanor and enthusiastic nature. Damien thrives in an active environment where he can enjoy long walks—he needs at least an hour each day. He’s fantastic with kids and gets along well with most dogs, but he's still learning about boundaries and communication, especially during playtime. While he’s less vocal than typical Huskies, his affection shines through in his playful antics and he loves to shower his humans with kisses. Currently crate trained, he does well alone for up to four hours. His previous experiences have left him a bit unsure, particularly when it comes to food guarding, but with structured guidance, Damien is eager to learn and adapt.
