Initially hesitant to venture beyond her deck for potty breaks, she’s now confidently exploring the yard. Watching her discover the joys of grass is a delight. Punky is steadily improving her leash skills. While she prefers a traditional collar over a harness, her first walks were a bit intimidating; she needed a gentle lift to reach the sidewalk. Since then, with encouragement from her canine foster siblings, she’s made great strides. Having a confident dog buddy in her forever home would help her further develop her courage. Although she’s not quite ready to snuggle yet, she definitely enjoys playing with other dogs, albeit cautiously when things get too lively. Punky has a knack for collecting toys in her crate, and she lights up at the sight of new people, eagerly poking her head out to ask for some affection.
