About Scout
Scout is a young, lively American Bulldog/Boxer mix with some of the best eyebrows around. Born on May 2, he's a classic Taurus—expect a little stubbornness and a big heart. He packs a lot of personality and energy into his medium frame and thrives on being near his people. If you like your dogs both sharp and silly, Scout might be the one. He recently breezed through training classes, so you’re starting with a pup who’s curious, clever, and ready to keep learning. His adoption comes with two extra training sessions, just to keep everyone on the right track. Scout adores humans of all ages, though his gusto can be a little much for very little ones. He gets along well with other dogs but is confident enough to be happy as a solo pet, too—he just needs a chance to socialize through playtime, dog daycare, or walks. At home, he tends to stay close and will happily flop across your legs or sun himself at the door. He’s especially drawn to water, so pool lovers will find a friend in him. He’s crate trained, housebroken, and rides quietly in the car, but like any young pup, he benefits from supervision when out and about. Scout’s playful nature means he’ll do best in a home willing to offer consistent exercise, structure, and patience. Ideally, he'd love someone around for most of the day—long solo stretches in the crate are tough at this age. Scout is ready for someone who wants an adventurous, affectionate, social addition to the family. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
