About Momma Bear and Baby
Meet Momma Bear and Baby Bear! Momma Bear, a four-and-a-half-year-old Domestic Short Hair, brings a quiet comfort with her soft calico coat and tender heart. Living in Amherst, MA, she enjoys the calming company of her playful companion, Baby Bear, a lively one-year-old tortoiseshell who adds a spark of energy to their bond. Weighing in at nine pounds, Momma is gentle and thoughtful. Though sudden changes can startle her, once she feels safe, her affectionate nature shines through, especially during sweet face rubs and when she trots across the room to greet her favorite people. While she prefers cuddles on her own terms, she loves head scratches and finds joy in playful moments with feather wands and cardboard boxes. Many of her favorite times are spent on the catio, where she watches birds and enjoys the breeze. Baby Bear is a petite six-pound kitten with a growing confidence. Sheβs curious, leaps and climbs, and even pulls off impressive midair flips when chasing her wand toy. Always eager to engage with her caregivers, Baby Bear is quick to greet anyone who enters the room, though she appreciates gentle interaction for comfort. Both girls are spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped, thriving in calm environments with predictable routines and daily interactive play. Additionally, they would love to stay together or be adopted with Poppa Bear to keep their family intact. If you think your home could be the next chapter in their story, please reach out to Joyful Pets Animal Rescue for an adoption application.
