About Matilda

Matilda is a brave little adventurer who has overcome a lot since being rescued from a municipal shelter. Initially frightened and wary of being handled, she quickly adapted to her new surroundings and started to show her true personality. Given time and a tranquil space, she transforms into a snugglebug full of affection. At about 3 years old and weighing 13 lbs, she’s a small Terrier mix with an apricot and beige coat. While Matilda gets along well with other dogs, she’s not recommended for homes with young children due to her timid nature. She is crate and leash trained, and demonstrates excellent house manners. Matilda has been spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and tested heartworm negative. The adoption donation is $350, which covers her heartworm preventative meds and includes a safety harness.
