About Eddie

Eddie is a striking young German Shepherd, around two years old, who was recently rescued from a shelter in Southern California facing overwhelming capacity issues. He captured my heart with his sweet demeanor and those enormous bear paws. When I saw him seeking attention at the front of his kennel, I knew I had to take action. Eddie came home a bit underweight and stressed, but he has quickly adjusted and is eager to please. His intelligence and playful spirit shine through; he loves playing fetch and would thrive in a home with kids who can toss him toys. He's equally fond of water, happily splashing his feet in a kiddy pool to cool off. This young guy is great with other dogs, including my older female pit bull, though he sometimes gets a bit too playful for her taste. He is house trained and behaves wonderfully when around his people. However, it's best to use a crate when you're not home, as he still has some youthful mischief in him. He’s neutered, vaccinated, and ready to find his forever home with just a modest adoption fee. All it takes is an application, a home check, and a vet reference. I’m more than willing to drive to find the right fit for him, within five hours of Riverside County. If you're looking for a loyal and fun companion, Eddie might just be the one!
