Meet Scout, a sweet young lady eager for her forever home. At about 20 months old and a little over 7 lbs, this mixed breed girl—part Chihuahua and part Yorkshire Terrier—has had a tough start. After her previous owner had to move, Scout found herself in a local rescue, and now she’s ready to shine. Scout is learning to trust after being timid at first. With patience from her foster mom, she now hops into her arms with joy. While she warms up more quickly to women, Scout is gradually getting comfortable with men as well. She’s friendly with other small dogs and has shown no interest in cats. Scout prefers a securely fenced yard since she can get spooked easily, especially when it comes to walks and leashes.
