Joey is on the hunt for a foster or forever home that can offer him the time, patience, and consistency he needs to thrive. He’s a sweet boy who adores his people, but he does come with a few challenges that require a dedicated owner. Currently, Joey is not reliably house trained, so he will need someone willing to invest in potty training. Consistency, routine, and patience will be vital in helping him build good habits. Additionally, Joey has proven himself to be an escape artist, having learned to dig under fences. A secure yard or a family that can commit to leash walks and supervised outdoor time will be essential for him. While he didn’t show any skin issues before adoption, we are currently unsure if his skin irritation is stress-related, environmental, or allergy-related. We’ll ensure he receives the evaluation and care he needs. Joey isn’t your typical, easy-going pet, but for the right person, he can be incredibly rewarding.
