About Rambo

Meet Rambo! This little black bundle of fur has come a long way since arriving at Heartland as a scared stray. Initially shy and hesitant, Rambo is slowly warming up and showing her playful side in foster care. She adores her toys, from springs to laser lights, and loves to explore all the nooks in her play area. Rambo has recently started joining her fellow feline friends, showing interest in making biscuits and enjoying some gentle pets. While she might hiss a bit, it's just her way of talking—once she relaxes, she welcomes all-over body rubs and even shows you her belly for love. Though she can be shy, sweets like churro treats bring her closer, encouraging her to lick from your hand without a bite. Rambo appreciates a calm environment and will thrive with a patient adopter who gives her the time to adjust. It's recommended to start her in a small room to build trust before letting her explore the whole house. Remember, she’s litter box trained and enjoys her meals, but be prepared that she can be a little tricky when it comes to settling her into a carrier. Rambo is spayed and fully vaccinated, ready for her forever home. Stop by Heartland in Wheeling, IL, to meet this sweet girl. She’s waiting for someone who understands her gentle spirit and can offer her the loving home she deserves. Your new best friend is just one click away.
