Shankar, an 8-month-old Shiba Inu, ended up at the shelter after his owners could no longer care for him. Weighing about 25 pounds, he’s a playful and curious boy who loves his squeaky toys and will chase after anything that moves. Still very much a puppy, he needs a patient person who understands the commitment of raising a young dog. It's important for Shankar to meet all family members before adopting, as he previously had a habit of chasing cats.
