Hamlet was discovered frolicking on the sidewalks of Astoria on a warm summer evening. It's clear he’s a joyful, friendly soul, eagerly seeking a forever home. He happily approached his rescuers and even allowed one to carry him for the entire 15-minute journey to his foster home. This affectionate boy prefers being held rather than confined in a box. Hamlet thrives in social settings; he would flourish in a home with other people or pets. While he’s fine with the resident senior cat, he would benefit from a younger, more playful companion. He can entertain himself for hours as long as there's someone nearby. His foster family has found him to be an absolute delight. Hamlet needs to be adopted with another cat; applications for single-cat placements will not be considered.
