Buttercup is a gentle male cat who became part of the rescue after being saved from an overcrowded colony during a trap neuter return (TNR). He's a bit of a "momma's boy," enjoying cuddles and close company. Although he was born without a paw on one hind leg, Buttercup doesn’t let that hold him back—he walks, runs, and jumps with ease. He initially may shy away from being picked up, but once in your arms, he relaxes and appreciates the affection. Each day, he’s growing in confidence and adjusting to life indoors. Buttercup gets along well with other cats and has a fondness for treats like churus and dental goodies. He’s looking for a forever home where he can receive the love and attention he deserves.
