Dougal is currently in foster care in West Hartford, CT and is looking for a forever home. This 2-year-old Sheepadoodle, weighing about 75 lbs, is an easy-going and laid-back companion. He enjoys the company of other dogs and can often be forgotten about due to his calm demeanor. Dougal prefers the cooler parts of the day, happily playing outside or relaxing in the air conditioning. While he is mostly house and leash trained, he does pull and would benefit from a strong handler. A fully fenced and secure yard is essential for him to roam safely. Dougal does not get along with cats and is not suited for homes with children under 8 years old. He is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations including Rabies, Dhpp, Bordatella, and Canine Influenza, and he is on monthly preventative treatments.
