AvailableAbout Chupie .
Chupie needs a special home where she can thrive. She's not suited for families with young kids, as she can become overstimulated easily. After some adjustment, Chupie gets along well with other cats and has even taken to cleaning some of the rescue kittens in her care. However, she has a strong aversion to dogs and will react defensively. Chupie came from another rescue where they considered euthanization due to her behavior, but what we’ve discovered is that she clearly communicates her preferences. She enjoys human companionship, but only on her terms. When she feels overstimulated by too much petting, she may act out. Once she feels safe around a person, she becomes affectionate, happily snuggling when she’s comfortable. Chupie loves basking in the sun, often found lounging in a sunny window. If you're interested in giving her the loving and understanding home she deserves, come meet her at PAC Place on Gratiot Ave, Port Huron, MI. Ready to make a connection?
