Meet Skippy, a lovely Cocker Spaniel who is ready for a fresh start at 14 years old. After spending his whole life with one family, Skippy now needs a new home due to a change in circumstances. He is a sweet and gentle companion who deserves to be cherished in his golden years. Skippy is seemingly healthy, up to date on vaccinations, and has been to the vet recently. While he adjusts, he has had a few accidents and will need some supervision to become house trained again. He is open to positive training and is reported to be wonderful with other small dogs and cats. Skippy loves to cuddle and is the perfect chill buddy, but he can also be playful, collecting and tossing his toys for fun. Although he was a bit cautious when he first arrived, Skippy has bonded well with his foster mom and has shown no incidents in recent months. He would thrive in a home where someone is home often, whether retired or working from home, and can keep him close.
