About Maisie
Meet Maisie — Our Beautiful Little Warrior! Maisie, a brave Cocker Spaniel, was found abandoned in South Texas, facing severe malnutrition and illness. Now, at about 5 years old and weighing a healthy 23 pounds, she's a symbol of resilience, having overcome her challenges and thriving in her foster home. Although she has limited vision due to cataracts, it doesn't stop her. Her right eye can see shadows while her left has an inoperable cataract, but thanks to daily eye drops, she navigates her surroundings confidently. She thrives in a calm environment with a predictable routine, as chaos can make her anxious. Happily, she's both house and crate trained, plus she gets along with other dogs. Maisie enjoys cuddling with her humans and dog friends. She's fond of treats and toys, often carrying them around, and it's heartwarming to witness her blossoming personality. Currently in Texas, she can travel to Colorado or the Northeast for the right forever home. Maisie deserves a loving and peaceful environment where she can continue to thrive.
