Meet Wesson, an adorable young Jack Russell Terrier who recently joined us as a stray. Unfortunately, his previous family never came to claim him. Wesson initially takes his time warming up to new people, but with a gentle voice and some patience, his sweet nature shines through. Once he trusts you, he’ll want to stick close by your side, truly enjoying the role of a lap dog and dedicated companion. Wesson is making progress with his leash manners, and he feels more secure when wearing a harness. He gets along well with other dogs and wouldn’t mind sharing his space with a cat. However, he’s a bit timid around young children, so his ideal home would have older kids who can give him the space he needs. Wesson is the kind of pup who’ll brighten your days, and we believe he won’t be with us long! He is scheduled to be neutered, microchipped, and is up-to-date with vaccines and monthly preventatives.
