Meet Alvin Sunshine, a spunky 11-year-old Boston Terrier looking for a new home. This 20-pound, brown and white ball of joy entered our rescue on August 5, 2026, and he’s ready for a chance at a happy life. Although he has some separation anxiety, Alvin finds comfort in his crate or bed when his humans are away. Alvin has a history of getting along well with a small Yorkie, showcasing his calm and submissive nature. He tends to be a bit skittish around new people at first, but with a little time, he warms right up. While he hasn’t lived with cats, he enjoys the company of older kids and has never shown aggression toward people, though he may approach larger dogs out of curiosity. This intelligent guy knows commands and is leash trained, making him a pleasure to walk. He’s also up-to-date on vaccinations and is heartworm negative.
