Canyon is a lively 1-year-old German Shepherd mix weighing 70 lbs. He’s fully house trained and crate trained, and he walks nicely on a leash. Canyon thrives on social interactions and loves being around people and dogs. His playful spirit shines through when he’s fetching balls, and he brings joy to every gathering. He’s comfortable in various situations, making him a great companion. Living harmoniously with two cats and three other dogs, Canyon is non-reactive and even leaves the chickens in his foster mom’s care alone. He hasn’t lived directly with children yet, but he enjoys their company. Canyon’s ideal home would be one where he can run, play, and perhaps have a canine or human sibling to accompany him on hikes. All dogs in our care are spayed or neutered and up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations. To meet Canyon, an approved application is necessary, as we do not have a shelter location and will not arrange meetings without one.
