Jellybean, a charming 5-year-old long-haired merle Chihuahua, weighs just 6 pounds and is currently fostered in Weeki Wachee, Florida. Don’t let her petite size trick you; she’s got a big personality and believes she can conquer the world! This delightful girl loves to cuddle and seeks out her person for snuggles. Whether playing fetch or engaging with her favorite toys, she relishes any kind of playtime, especially with fellow dogs. Jellybean gets along well with them but sometimes exhibits the behavior of a little diva, keen on snagging their treats if allowed. Previously, she faced a challenging situation when her owner, who had memory issues, sadly passed away. As a result, Jellybean is still working on her house training. She's making significant strides, becoming more reliable at going outdoors, and comfortably using pee pads inside. Leash training isn’t quite her forte yet, so she’ll need a securely fenced yard to run safely and do her business. With a bit of patience and positive reinforcement, she may learn to enjoy walks in the future. Great snuggles are a must for her, and she thrives in a home where she can share the bed with her family. For her continued development and confidence, a companion who works from home would be ideal. One unique feature is her little tongue that peeks out due to a slight jaw deformity from a past injury. This charming quirk adds to her appeal and doesn't hinder her lively spirit. Jellybean may be a bit shy around newcomers, so she would do best in a quieter home without young children. Her vigilant nature makes her a delightful watchdog.
