Meet Akimbo, a playful two-year-old Siberian Husky with striking heterochromia – one white and blue eye and one brown and black eye. He doesn't quite fit the typical mold of a cat, but we couldn’t resist bringing this spirited pup into our rescue. His outgoing personality shines, especially during playtime in our fenced backyard, where he loves to run, dive, and chase tennis balls. Akimbo is looking for a new home because his current living situation has become challenging. His new family is moving in together, and their current "Alpha Dog" has made Akimbo feel unwelcome. Although he's a submissive soul who quickly adapts to new situations, the bullying he's experienced has made finding a stress-free environment essential. This affectionate boy has adjusted well to being around smaller dogs, showing them respect and even following the lead of his tiny companions. Akimbo is crate trained, neutered, and knows basic commands. His zest for life and eagerness to learn mean he will only continue to thrive with the right family. Excited and curious about his surroundings, Akimbo is ready to share his boundless energy and love with someone who appreciates him for the wonderful companion he is.
