About Athena

Athena is a 4-year-old Siberian Husky whose story is as striking as her looks. When she first arrived last winter, she was a frail 25 lbs. Now, she’s bounced back fully—spunky, playful, and eager to explore. Athena handles walks well and enjoys sniffing around the yard, but her Husky energy means she can get excited and occasionally jumps, so she’s better suited for households with older children who won’t get bowled over. She does well with other dogs and would thrive with a canine friend. Meeting new people can make Athena a bit reserved at first, but she quickly warms up with patience and gentleness, revealing her affectionate nature. Due to her strong prey drive, she’s not a match for homes with cats or small animals. Athena will be spayed prior to adoption, and her vaccines are up to date. Born January 28, she is an Aquarius—true to her sign’s independent streak. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
