Meet Poppy! Poppy is ready for a new home after being found as a stray. She's about a year old and has come a long way since her intake, where she showed signs of being underweight and had some wounds. Now on the mend, she’s friendly, affectionate, and bursting with energy. Poppy enjoys sunbathing and loves spending time outdoors, particularly going for walks. While she’s not completely house trained yet, she’s showing improvement and would benefit from additional obedience training and socialization. Poppy does well with other dogs, but meet and greets are necessary if you have one at home. Because she has some food aggression, a household with older children is ideal. Poppy has been spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped, but she does have ongoing special medical needs that her future owner should be prepared to handle.
