Zelda is a charming Chihuahua/Dachshund mix who is around 5 years old and weighs 21 lbs. This affectionate girl warms up quickly to both men and women, often gazing at you with trusting eyes. She enjoys cuddling and can be a bit clingy at times, but responds well when asked for space. Although she has a medium to low energy level, she loves to lounge on the sofa, but is also content to nap in her own bed when instructed. On walks, Zelda is great on a leash and exhibits curiosity and friendliness toward other dogs and strangers. She is generally laid-back and seems to thrive on reassurance and love, making her a great fit for a calm home. She’s fine being left alone for short periods and sleeps through the night in her dog bed. Previously, she had a large mass which has been safely removed and found to be benign, leaving her ready for a loving forever home. Zelda is looking for that special someone who can give her the affection she craves. She would flourish in a peaceful environment that allows her to feel secure and loved.
