Izzy is an adorable mixed-breed dog, likely with some Chihuahua traits, who’s around 3 years old and weighs about 12 lbs. Coming from a challenging situation, she was surrendered when her family welcomed a baby, and now she’s looking for a forever home. While she's still learning about house training, she is excelling in her crate training and walks well on a leash. This little cutie is friendly and outgoing, quickly making friends wherever she goes. Izzy loves toys and has a quirky habit of hunting down bugs, catching them mid-air before enjoying her prize. She can join households with kids aged 5 and older and gets along well with other dogs, although she does have a tendency to guard her food. In her foster home, she enjoys playtime with older dogs, frequently trying to engage them. While she might bark with excitement when she knows it's treat time, she'll hop right into her crate for snacks. Izzy will be available for adoption in North Dartmouth on August 14.
