Meet Otis, a vibrant and playful 1.5-year-old neutered Miniature Schnauzer. He’s predominantly white with a medium coat, and although he needs a bit of special care, he’s ready to find the right home. Otis is currently in Chandler, AZ but is available for adoption only to residents of New Mexico and Arizona. This spirited little guy has experienced some upheaval in his early months, which contributes to his need for a calm and structured environment. While Otis is making strides with house training, he still requires consistent potty breaks. His anxiety management includes a daily dose of Reconcile, which keeps him on track. Otis does best in a home where someone is around most of the time, ideally accompanied by another confident dog to guide him. Because of his background, he’s not suited for homes with young children. He’s an intelligent pup who loves learning and is already familiar with commands like 'sit', 'down', and 'stay'. Otis enjoys walks and social interactions with other dogs, and has proven to do well in a daycare setting, thriving in a cheerful atmosphere.
