About Gus

Meet Gus! Sweet Gus is a playful 7-8 month old Chihuahua mix weighing around 8-9 lbs. He has come a long way, blossoming into a more confident pup as he opens up. While he's timid around new people, he warms up nicely given some time. Gus would thrive in a home with another dog to guide him and show the ropes. He’s house trained and sleeps through the night, though he does have occasional marking that should improve once he is neutered, which is scheduled soon. Toys and treats captivate him, but he truly loves being around people and will happily follow you around the house. He's crate trained and has been left alone for 4-5 hours without any issues. However, he can be wary of loud noises and may bark at unfamiliar sounds, so a quieter living situation, like a home or townhome, would be ideal for him. Gus will soon be fully vaccinated, microchipped, and neutered. His adoption fee is $525.
