Meet Spud, the tiny Potato and professional cuddler. This little guy’s story took a turn for the better when he was rescued from a storm in Texas, where he had been left all alone. Thanks to a compassionate person, he’s now safe, warm, and loved, getting the chance every puppy deserves. Though we’re not sure of his exact breed—possibly a mix of hound, Jack Russell, and Rat Terrier—what we do know is that he’s utterly adorable. He may grow to about 40 pounds, but for now, he’s just a baby. Spud is sweet, affectionate, and playful. His social personality shines as he enjoys being held and explores his surroundings with a curious spirit. One minute, he’s discovering every nook and cranny, and the next, he’s snuggled up in your lap, dreaming away. As a young puppy, he will need a dedicated adopter to guide him through essential training. Potty training, crate training, socialization, leash walking, and basic manners are all on the agenda. With patience and love, he’ll thrive and grow into a wonderful companion. Spud's past may have been rough, but he’s ready to turn the page and create happy memories.
