Meet Kodiak, a handsome and affectionate senior dog ready for his retirement home. Kodiak, affectionately known as Koda, is about 10 years old and weighs 80 pounds of pure love. His journey to us began under tough circumstances, having been misdiagnosed before arriving at Pets with Disabilities. Thanks to our fantastic veterinary team, Koda was properly diagnosed and had a mass safely removed. Now that he’s healthy, his true personality shines through—he's confident, playful, and adores attention from his humans. Koda is house-trained and walks beautifully on a leash. He gets along wonderfully with both dogs and cats, making him an ideal companion for any household. Although he’s hearing and vision impaired, Kodiak navigates well and quickly learns his surroundings. A one-level home, ideally with minimal stairs, would be best for him as he adjusts. Gentle and well-mannered, Koda is the silent type who simply seeks a peaceful home filled with love and kindness.
