AvailableOllie is a small male puppy, recently neutered, currently working on house training but not yet fully trained. He is around six months old and yet to reach his full adult size. He’s a curious mix of Border Collie and Jindo, currently living in Danvers, MA. Up to date with vaccinations, Ollie has a friendly disposition and is eager to learn, making him a perfect addition to a loving family.
About Ollie
Ollie is a curious six-month-old puppy who seems to think being just a step behind you is the best spot to be—until he decides you’re safe enough to approach. Once he does, he becomes your cheerful companion, eager to share his warmth and playfulness. Currently in South Korea, Ollie can fly to the U.S. with a flight volunteer when matched with the right family. To be considered for adoption, submit a complete application first. Every approved adopter begins with a two-week trial to ensure a thoughtful match as Ollie gets used to his new surroundings. Ollie’s journey started in a municipal kill shelter, but his spirit has shined through. After only two weeks in foster care, he learned several commands like sit and shake. He thrives on human interaction, albeit on his own terms. Slowly approaching him with your hand out will often yield a loving response. He is calm around children but isn’t suited for homes with young kids who might rush at him. Ollie also gets along well with other dogs, showing particularly good manners and willingness to adapt. However, he does have a tendency to assert control over smaller dogs, which is being addressed through training. His encounters with cats have been positive, and he’s shown curiosity without aggression. Ollie is an active and playful puppy who needs about 90 minutes of exercise each day. He enjoys multiple walks and off-leash time. While he is still in potty training, he mainly does his business outside, and with consistent outdoor access, he’s expected to transition smoothly. His gentle nature makes him endearing; he’s not disruptive and barks mainly when excited. He needs a nurturing home that respects his pace and allows him to come forward.
