About Kent
Kent is an energetic young dog who thrives on companionship. Initially wary of strangers, he quickly reveals his affectionate nature, always wanting to stay close to his favorite people. He will need some guidance in mastering a relaxed leash walk before embarking on any big adventures, but he'll be a great walking buddy once he settles in. During his time at TJO, Kent showed a playful spirit with other dogs, initiating play after some friendly sniffs. He can feel intimidated by larger dogs, so a mellow canine companion might suit him best. While he's a happy-go-lucky pup without signs of resource guarding, new faces do require some patienceโhe warms up quickly, especially with a few treats. Kent could fit into a family with kids who are active and mindful, as interactions should be supervised for everyone's comfort. This active little guy also enjoys his quiet snuggle time after play, making him a bit of a velcro dog. With the right positive reinforcement training, Kent will not only learn basic commands but also bond strongly with his new family. Regular grooming will keep his coat looking sharp too!
